I hope everyone is staying healthy, safe and sane. I know that real estate might not be on the top of your mind right now, but I am get to give you a quick update on the real estate market for spring 2020
If you know anyone out there that saw this coming, have them buy you (and me) a lottery ticket.
Even though these are unprecedented times with information and updates coming hourly the point of this video is to answer some questions I know some of my clients have on their mind right now.
MARKET;
As winter was drawing to a close the market was heating up – a very strong sellers market. However as March ended, spring arrived sales have slowed down. What a change a few weeks can make.
It is not just the real estate world that has been turned upside down it is THE WORLD that has been turned upside down by Covid-19
In terms of further forecasting there is not a one size fits all answer. There are many unique circumstances and each have to be treated their own way. I am here to help.
Keep in mind even in a more traditional, non-pandemic market, we as Realtors have never had the ability to guarantee any of our market predictions. They are educated best guesses.
One thing that remains constant is that I will always give you the best advice for your specific situation. And it will be fluid, it will be dynamic as it always is. It will be tailored to your criteria and timeline and will be educated and informed with the latest data we have available. This will be updated as we move forward along through the process. Just like it always should be.

BUYERS:
-You are not alone, there are still lots of people out there that do still need to and do still want to buy.
-There is no information out there from the banks that indicate that prices are falling
-There is a good opportunity to buy. Not necessarily that homes will be cheaper, but there may be less competition out there (less of a buying pool)
-I will work with, following public health guidelines and utilizing incredible technology to help guide you through the process
SELLERS:
-To successfully sell your home, you do not need 10 people to give you an offer – You need one.
-Things are still selling. There is still competition for listings.
-There are qualified buyers out there right now. Buyers who are giving solid offers and prices Sellers are happy with
– I can provide “no-contact” opinion of values utilizing technology and keeping us both safe
-Could your buyer out there right now? Are they at home thinking about making a change?
-Could now be a good time to expose your home to the market?
