The summer real estate market has been hot and cold, even though the weather continues to be scorching.<\/p>\n

When reviewing the statistics that were just released earlier this month for our local real estate board here in Hamilton it seems you can slice and dissect them a few different ways.<\/p>\n
I tend to take the more\u00a0optimistic<\/strong>\u00a0approach and choose to interpret these results as the local Hamilton and Surrounding Area market continuing its path of strengthening and recovery from the correction of the summer of 2017.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25.4″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25.4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.25.4″]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25.4″][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25.4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.25.4″]<\/p>\n The argument still remains that Hamilton and its surrounding areas are in a lot of ways still undervalued:<\/p>\n As long as new listings are priced right, they are selling quickly.\u00a0 If they are not\u2026. Well then that is a different story (see below).<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25.4″][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/steveroblin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Dundas-Home-Steve-Roblin.jpg” _builder_version=”3.25.4″ \/][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25.4″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25.4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.25.4″]<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Combine this with the fact that days on the market are decreasing and listings are slowing down it could be interpreted that the market is tightening, and we are returning to a strong\u00a0seller\u2019s market.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The summer of 2019 is proving an excellent time to buy.
